Conclusion of an Amazing Life

Dear Readers,

Dr. Carroll Wright, who you know as Dr. Joe, passed away on May 24th, 2015. Despite declining health over the past year, he continued to write and maintain a small psychotherapy practice because he felt so strongly that this work was at the core of his life’s mission.

Dr. Wright was born in Homeland, Georgia in 1928 and chose a spiritual service path early in life, after the death of his beloved sister Vivian at age 15. In his words, “My whole life was shattered and my search [for life’s meaning] became conscious.”

In the 1950s, Dr. Wright received a Bachelor of Divinity degree, a master’s in Pastoral Counseling and Psychology as well as a doctorate in Theology from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. He worked as a chaplain and pastoral counselor, later becoming and individual and family psychotherapist. He practiced for over 58 years in Kentucky, Michigan, California, and Virginia, and touched many lives with his wisdom and grace.

As readers of this website, you know that Dr. Wright developed a unique approach to therapy- “Spiritual Psychotherapy”- a method for alleviating symptoms of distress through an exploration of the spiritual enlightenment process. He has written 7 books and over 150 newsletters, and all of his written work will remain available here on this website.

His last written work is a list of over 150 ideas, which he called “enlightenment puzzles.” In the final week of his life we began posting the puzzles on the blog and we have now consolidated them below. We hope that you will enjoy reading these distillations of his lifetime of practice and reflection.

The Universe is a Giant Classroom

THE UNIVERSE IS A GIANT CLASSROOM WITH THE INTERNET CONNECTING US ALL AT THE
THE SPEED OF LIGHT.  YOU AND I ARE MOST FORTUNATE TO EVEN BE ALIVE NOW.  WE CAN BE EDUCATED AND RE-EDUCATED IN WHAT USED TO TAKE MANY LIFETIMES–IF WE CAN DISCOVER AN ENLIGHTENED TEACHER,  BUT WHAT IS THAT?

Enlightenment is Our Purpose

ENLIGHTENMENT IS OUR PURPOSE ON EARTH.  WITHOUT ITS PRACTICAL DAILY EXPERIENCE , HOWEVER, WE BEGIN TO DEVELOP ANXIETY SYMPTOMS TO REMIND US OF OUR NEGLECTED POSITIVE UNLIMITED POTENTIAL. THESE SYMPTOMS CANNOT BE SUCCESSFULLY SELF-MEDICATED UNTIL WE ARE ACTIVELY INVOLVED IN THE SELF-AWAKENING PROCESS, USUALLY WITH A TEACHER.

The Mind of Christ Exercise

The Mind of Christ Exercise: Your Original DNA Self

On our enlightenment journey from the ego to the Self, the main deterrent is our inherited belief in lack and limitation. In this common mindset, we feel like victims of someone or something, which arouses low-vibration experiences of hurt, anger, anxiety, violence and depression. The judge-and-blame pattern rampant in society keeps us locked into thinking, saying and doing things we don’t want. This victim pattern is not our true self nor is it what we really want. In the scripture, the True Self, our essential DNA, which is what we really want, is called the “Mind of Christ in us”.

Today we are free to choose to become aware of our DNA hard-wired essence, of what we really want, of the “Mind of Christ“ high-energy level of awareness and perception. Our DNA hard-wired essence, which is another name for unconditional love, is our true human nature, while our fear-based ego story is merely learned, conditioned and programmed.

Print out this scriptural description of your DNA outlined below and carry it in your wallet or purse to read every time you get upset, anxious or depressed. I guarantee you that your life will change in 30 days, whether you believe all that you read here or not.

Our True Self resonates to these quotes. This exercise enables us to transform our reactionary victim patterns into unconditional victor choices. Conditional external controlmanipulativeness shifts to unconditional acceptance and love. The change from slavery to mastery is possible beginning now.

People are dying for this Good News, literally, not just figuratively. This Good News can make our spirituality conscious rather that just leave it unconscious and symptomatic. All problems are spiritual problems, and all symptoms originally arise from our spiritual unawareness. “Jesus Christ” is the name for the highest level of Consciousness ever demonstrated in its completeness on this planet.

Human Love vs. Divine Love II

Human-love marriage, without radical spirituality, ends up with the symptoms of:  power struggles, cheating, divorce, separation, sickness, or child problems.  In other words,  most first marriages fail.  Nothing works without unconditional God-love awareness.

Human Love vs. Divine Love

HUMAN LOVE is finite, conditional, lacking, critical, constrictive, limiting, anxiety-producing, and falls short–it always wants something more.  It changes to fear, and fear eventually destroys.
DIVINE LOVE is infinite, expansive, unconditional, complete,  grateful, healing, unlimited, perfect, satisfying, and resurrective.

Anxiety Has Many Faces

Listed below are over 100 varieties of anxiety which occur in our
programmed polarized worldview, all of which are friends in
disguise—designed to wake us up.

The midlife-crisis-anxiety at any age is our invitation to Enlightenment.

Insecurity-anxiety about your relationships indicates insecurity about self.

Relationship-anxiety     Your marriage can be no more secure or
insecure than you are. To the extent that you are married to your
fearful ego story, you cannot be existentially married to a person.

Parent-anxiety is uncertainty about who your Source is.

Jealousy-anxiety assumes that I am lacking.

Rescue-anxiety is about failing to change others and needing to work
on self-awareness instead.

Distrust-anxiety about another originates from self-distrust.

Insomnia-anxiety arises from repressed conflicts now pushing up our
disturbances into our comfort zone.

Panic-attack-anxiety is a signal of the need for a deeper change
Fear-anxiety arises from mistaken beliefs.

Narcistic-anxiety short-changes the sufferer’s need for real self-knowledge.

Selfishness-anxiety occurs when we confuse the ego and the true Self.

Failure-anxiety gives you an opportunity to unlearn and relearn.

Loneliness-anxiety is a painful illusion.  Feeling neglected and
abused by others is a sure sign I am neglecting and abusing myself.

Abandonment-anxiety is a sign I have abandoned myself.

Deprivation-anxiety is only a deprived state of mind.

Entrapment-anxiety is a self-inflicted fiction.

Irritation-anxiety and resentment-anxiety are based upon the
assumption I can be rejected.  Self-rejection always precedes the
apparent rejection by others.  Anxiety arises from the belief that my
self-esteem depends on others.

Self-esteem-anxiety arises from the false belief that I am my limitations.
Hurt-anxiety is the anxious opinion I could be a victim
Separation-anxiety is the belief I could be separated from Love
Itself. This sense of separateness is the chief source of anxiety.
This anxiety clouds awareness of the oneness of life.

Death-anxiety is the mistaken assumption that I am not immortal.

Loneliness-anxiety is the notion that I could be separate.

Nightmare anxieties and trauma-anxieties are life-saving messages
trying to get our attention.

Accident-anxiety and injury-anxiety express my belief that I am my body.

War-anxiety is inner conflict out-pictured.

Illness-anxiety is a state of mind about the body in which we do not
see clearly that all illness is mental.

Anger-anxiety is a form of other-blame and self-defense.
Self-awareness and self-appreciation are essential to loving
others.Anger-anxiety is self-blame projected outward, followed by a
failed attempt to control others.

Guilt-anxiety is self-judgment and blame mixed with pride-anxiety.

Grief-anxiety is the idea I could lose someone or something.

Betrayal-anxiety follows self-betrayal.

Cancer-anxiety is a form of belief in loss.

Accident-anxiety is something we fear and attract.

Suffering-anxiety is something we try to avoid, but cling to.

Shame-anxiety is a belief in inferiority and superiority.

Pride-anxiety and arrogance is a powerless form of self-doubt and lack
of humility.

Cowardice-anxiety is a fear of one’s power.

Bully-anxiety is a fear of one’s powerlessness.

Shyness-anxiety arises from judging, criticizing and attacking thoughts.

Poverty-anxiety arises from a “Poor Me” attitude and the failure to
claim one’s abundance.

Legal-anxiety is a result of our karmic story.

Passivity-anxiety, like aggression-anxiety, is a story about survival.

ADD-anxiety is due to a lack of self-awareness, as well as an
experience of attention-distraction, which give the family and school
systems a symptom-relief challenge for deeper change.

Sickness-anxiety arises from an unconscious constrictive block in energy flow.

Stress-anxiety arises from our self-created story about self and the
universe. Your anxiety contains a life-saving message you must examine
in order to discover.  Mis-imagination is your only fault, sin, crime
or mistake. To the degree that you experience anxiety, you are still,
to that degree, an unconscious. unhappy, anxious, unlimited creator
and lover.

Control-anxiety arises from trying to control other people and
circumstances when we do not address the real cause of unhappiness.

Unhappiness-anxiety is a signal of identity confusion.
All anxiety arises from your story itself and not from the contents of
that drama. All anxiety is identity-anxiety at its root.

Insecurity-anxiety is fictional.

Self-medication-anxiety and addiction-anxiety arise from programmed
strategies which are always partially dissatisfying and lead to more
anxiety.

Manipulation-anxiety is simply a form of self-doubt.

Conformity-anxiety and rebellion-anxiety are garden-variety survival
strategies that everyone has to grow through.

Codependency-anxiety occurs in every unenlightened relationship.

Falling-out-of-love-anxiety always follows the falling-in-love
perception that we are or could be anything but unconditional lovers.

Aggressiveness-anxiety and submissiveness-anxiety always occur
together as a polarity, one pole of which is our shadow.

Ego-anxiety is the only anxiety there is. Anxiety = unawareness.
Whenever you name, label or judge anything, you will experience
anxiety about it because nothing is what it appears to be. Ignorance
is the source of all anxiety.  We are ignorant and anxious because we
do not know our divinity consciously.

Time-anxiety, along with procrastination-anxiety, and
impatience-anxiety, show our lack of awareness of the timeless.

Victim-anxiety is the bottom line of the ego view of the world.
Rescuer-anxiety and villain-anxiety are close seconds.

Lying-anxiety inevitably goes with theft-anxiety, envy-anxiety and
cheater-anxiety, all of which arise from Self-ignorance. Wisdom comes
to those who ask.  With wisdom comes power. With power comes humility,
forgiveness and oneness.  God-awareness is Self-awareness, and the
rest is just a story. Suffering is our invitation to the banquet. The
very best is always wrapped in the very worst packaging. Don’t look
for the Christ outside, you are an unconscious Christ waking up.

Suicide-anxiety occurs with every survival agenda, but you cannot kill
yourself, only your body.

Depression-anxiety occurs in cycles along with mania-anxiety which we
call manic-depression or bipolar-anxiety.  Bipolar-anxiety has become
a favorite diagnosis and prescription epidemic, but it is simply
identity-anxiety squared.  Bipolar means you still believe in
good-versus-evil.

Depression-anxiety is self-inflicted painful Self-ignorance, a wake-up
call to reality.  If you are depressed, you are not aware of reality,
only of your story about reality.  Depressing is a call to life and
enlightenment.

Helplessness-anxiety is as rampant as hopelessness-anxiety and both
are  experiences based upon one’s divinity-denial.

Criticism-anxiety is inevitably followed by blame-anxiety and
punishment-anxiety, none of which bring us what we want.

Hell-anxiety like demon-anxiety and death-anxiety are exaggerated
human misperceptions we made up or fell into, and have nothing to do
with God.  The ego is a hypocrite, and hardly knows the truth about
anything.  The truth sets us free.  Are we free?  Not yet.  But we are
in an inevitable enlightenment process, if and when we listen to the
wake-up messages of our anxiety. Today is your chance of a lifetime to
wake up.  Take it.

Problem-anxiety is a gift.  There are no problems, just challenges and
opportunities, misjudged and misunderstood.

Limitations-anxiety is strictly mis-imagination.  All things are
possible. Expanded awareness is the only purpose of anxiety. Every
anxiety hides and reveals truth-realization. The finite is the
infinite in form, so are you.  You are both visible and invisible,
physical and metaphysical. You have two physical eyes and one third
eye.  You have sight and vision.  You are in time and beyond time.
You are a son (daughter) of man on the human level, and a son
(daughter) of God on the spiritual level.

Power-struggle-anxiety is peace-neglect.

If you think you can be hurt, you also think you can hurt others, and
you will feel like a victim of guilt-anxiety.

Burden-anxiety and martyr-anxiety are garden varieties of worry-anxiety.
Nightmare-anxiety is your invitation to wake up.

Boredom-anxiety is a misnomer for the assumption of shallowness.

Attention-deficit-disorder-anxiety is scattered superficial perception
based upon self-ignorance.  ADD-anxiety is a call to parents, schools
and doctors to go deeper into their own self-awareness.  Children
reflect our own anxiety-confusion.

Self-medication-anxiety, like all drug-anxiety and addiction-anxiety,
is a call to wake up to the mis-use of your creative imagination. The
desire for hypnosis is really a call to wake-up from what you are
already hypnotized about.  We are all in a cultural trance.  Waking-up
is de-hypnosis.

God-anxiety like Self-unawareness-anxiety is the basis of all
existential- anxiety.

Republican-anxiety, like Democratic-anxiety, is an opportunity to go
past scape-goating and find our unity.  There are no bad guys or good
guys, just anxious lovers and our old worn-out story.

Anxiety-recognition is the beginning of the Spiritual Psychotherapy
process. Anxiety is your friend because it is a strange witness to
your spiritual nature. As long as you blame your anxiety on anything
besides your own ego story, you are stuck in your limitations. Anxiety
always attends our attempts to gain satisfying self-confirmation
because it cannot be done. Anxiety, then, in any form is a signal that
I am unaware of the Infinite good that is present right now, as
symbolized by the infinity sign.

Jesus (and some other masters) discovered the formula for
anxiety-transcendence and anxiety-transformation, which was stated in
Jesus’ formula: “I and my Father are one, and He do-eth the work.”

21 Key Enlightenment Scriptures

Genesis 1:30

And God looked upon all that he had made and he said: “Very good!”

Psalm 37:7, NLT

“Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for Him to act.”

 Mark 15:38

And the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom.

 John 10:34

Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?”

Then said Jesus, “Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do”

 Revelation 21:5

Behold, I make all things new.

 John 21:25

And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written.

John 10:30

“I and my Father are one.”

 John 5:17

But Jesus answered them, “My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.”

John 17: 21-24

That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovest me before the foundation of the world.

These are the secret words, which the living Jesus spoke, and Didymus Judas Thomas wrote them down:

(1) And he said: “He who shall find the interpretation of the words shall not taste of death.”

 The Gospel According to Thomas

(2) Jesus said: “He who seeks, let him not cease seeking until he finds; and when he finds he will be troubled, and if he is troubled, he will be amazed, and he will reign over the All.”

 The Gospel According to Thomas

(3) Jesus said: “If those who lead you say unto you  ‘Behold, the Kingdom is in heaven’ then the birds of the heaven will be before you. If they say unto you

‘It is in the sea’ then the fish will be before you. But the Kingdom is within you, and it is outside of you. When you know yourselves, then shall you be known, and you shall know that you are the sons of the living Father. But if ye do not know yourselves, then you are in poverty, and you are poverty.”

The Gospel According to Thomas

(44) Jesus said: “He who blasphemes against the Father will be forgiven, and he who blasphemes against the Son will be forgiven but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either on earth or in heaven.”

 The Gospel According to Thomas

(67) Jesus said: “He who knows the All but fails (to know) him-self lacks everything.”

The Gospel According to Thomas

(70) Jesus said: “When you bring forth that in yourselves, that which you have will save you. If you do not have that in yourselves, that which you do not have in you will kill you.”

The Gospel According to Thomas

(77) Jesus said: “I am the light that is over them all. I am the All; the All has come forth from me, and the All has attained unto me. Cleave a (piece of) wood: I am there. Raise up the stone, and ye shall find me there.”

The Gospel According to Thomas

(82) Jesus said: “He who is near to me is near the fire, and he who is far from me is far from the kingdom.”

The Gospel According to Thomas

(106) Jesus said: “When you make the two one, you shall become sons of man, and when you say ‘Mountain, be moved’ it shall be moved.”

The Gospel According to Thomas

(113) His disciples said to him: “On what day will the kingdom come?” Jesus said, “The kingdom of the Father is spread out upon the earth, and men do not see it.”

Let’s Roll

The phone line from Flight 93 was still open when a GTE operator heard Todd Beamer say: ‘Are you guys ready? Let’s roll’

[Excerpt from Sunday, September 16, 2001 by Jim McKinnon, Post-Gazette Staff Writer]

“Are you guys ready? Let’s roll!”

That’s how Todd Beamer lived.

And that’s how he died, helping to lead a takeover by passengers on United Airlines Flight 93, which crashed in Somerset County. It was the fourth plane to go down in the 911 terrorist attacks.

Acidosis, Obesity and Healthcare

We live in an acidic environment and we are sick from it. The body fights to keep a ph balance of acid and alkaline above 7.3, but it is very difficult to do if we are overworking our liver by imbalance. A high acidic ph level is oxygen-poor and disease-prone.

What are the sources of acid in our environment?

  • Alcohol
  • Smoking
  • Street drugs
  • Medical drugs
  • Sugar
  • Sedentary lifestyles
  • Simple carbohydrates
  • Most refined foods
  • Toxins in our food, air, water
  • Chemicals in our homes and work places
  • Smog
  • Stress from our self-talk

Alkalinity comes from fruit and vegetables, fresh air and water, as well as from a stress-free and peaceful mind.

This acidic condition is a product of our programmed world. Former New York Mayor Bloomberg was quoted in the news a while back as saying that for the first time in the history of the world, obesity is now causing more deaths than starvation. Many diseases, like cancer and diabetes, are caused by obesity, and a great deal of our obesity is caused by an acidic diet and environment. Look at that list of causes of acidity and you will notice that most of them are self-medications for stress.

The programmed world causes obesity due in part to our mis-use of food to satisfy the senses. We turn to food to feed our unacknowledged spiritual hunger, and for the self-medication of anxiety.

The programmed world also contributes to obesity because the food production industry puts the profit motive before healthy food. Many people in the inner city rarely see fresh local food. Schools, corporations, businesses, the government and even families often put profit, convenience and habits above health, while the cost of healthcare is skyrocketing. Many cities and families are now getting into gardening. More restaurants are now offering menus of fresh local fruits and vegetables.

If we are putting poor food in our mouths, and not exercising to eliminate the toxins, how can we expect the doctors to keep up with the results? The poorer our mental and physical diet, the higher our health care costs. The higher our health care costs, the less we have to spend on a better diet.

Would you be willing to change one poor diet habit and one poor exercise habit this week? Would you be willing to challenge your programmed lifestyle with enlightenment- awareness this week?

BREATHING EXERCISE: We only use 20% of our lung power. Our air, water, drugs and food are far too acid for adequate ph balance. For health, relaxation, self-expansion, awareness increase, alkalinity, and energizing: close your eyes and do 21 conscious deep-belly breaths through the mouth, with no pause between the in-breath and out-breath, (which takes less than one minute), 3 times per day.

To read an interesting article on deep breathing: http://wewildflowers.wordpress.com/2010/11/23/quantum-light-breath-%e2%80%93-dynamic-breath-meditation/

To read an interesting article on “Acid-Alkaline Balance: Key Indicator of Health” by G. Kumar: http://healingdeva.com/acid.htm

Some Good Health Foods: broccoli, orange slices, humus, sweet potatoes, raw spinach, raw mushrooms, walnuts, avocado, salmon, chicken breasts, black beans, eggs, raw zucchini, watercress, kiwi, apricots, sardines, quinoa.

Cold or Flu Symptoms: take a half-teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of warm water 3 tines a day, on an empty stomach, which will help to correct acidosis.

My Perfect Breakfast is delicious, nutritious, quick, cost-effective, no clean-up.

After many years of experimentation, I finally crafted the perfect breakfast for myself. This meal is low cholesterol, high fiber, simple to fix, and satisfying. It uses no milk or sugar, is energy-generating, time-efficient, no clean up of pots and pans, you don’t get tired of it, and there’s no waste. Equipment and supplies: Blender, coffee-grinder or Magic Bullet to grind nuts, flax, sesame seeds, and oats.

Recipe:

A. One-inch wide slice of honeydew melon or cantaloupe.

B. Oatmeal treat: (1) Blend in your blender 1 teaspoon of flaxseed, 3-4 almonds or walnuts, 3 tablespoons of one minute oatmeal, one teaspoon of sesame seeds, eight ounces of boiling water, one sliced apple, half of a banana, one dried prune, 5-6 dried cherries, a few sprouts or greens of some kind, and any vitamins/minerals supplements that you take. C. A slice of whole wheat or multi-grain bread with butter.

Take notice that in the Perfect Breakfast, there is no sugar or milk, citrus, coffee, or sweet-roll types of food, and so all of these food items mix well and give very little gastrointestinal reaction. Notice that the oatmeal is not cooked in a separate pot and that no pot-and-pan clean-up is necessary. Notice that this recipe is for one serving, but can be scaled up. Preparation takes less than five minutes once you get organized.

The Afterlife

Annie Kagan is not a medium or a psychic, she did not die and come back to life; in fact, when she was awakened by her deceased brother, she thought perhaps she had gone a little crazy.

In The Afterlife of Billy Fingers: How My Bad-Boy Brother Proved to Me There’s Life After Death, Kagan shares the extraordinary story of her after death communications (ADC) with her brother Billy, who began speaking to her just weeks after his unexpected death.

One of the most detailed and profound ADC’s ever recorded, Kagan’s audiobook takes the listener beyond the near-death experience. Billy’s vivid, real-time account of his ongoing journey through the mysteries of death will change the way you think about life, death, and your place in the Universe.

In his foreword, Dr. Raymond Moody, author of Life after Life, explains the phenomena of walkers between the worlds, known to us since ancient times, and says that Dr. Kagan’s thought-provoking account is an excellent example.

An interesting quote from page 81:

“If I could have seen the ravishing beauty of Ingrid’s (ex-wife) soul while I was alive, I would have been so overwhelmed, I don’t think I could have functioned.  But here I’m just drifting in space, floating around, becoming the Universe.  There’s nothing I really have to do.

If you have things to do, seeing people’s souls could be a big impediment. If people could see other’s souls, the whole world might shut down. Think about it. You’d go into a store to buy something and get hung up for hours marveling at the cashier’s soul. If you saw the soul of your so-called enemy, you’d probably fall in love with them.  And then what? And if you beheld the soul of someone you truly loved, like I did with Ingrid, the intensity of that experience might incapacitate you for the rest of your life.

You can understand why seeing souls could be a problem on earth. Life would become one big love-in. I guess because Ingrid and I are both Universes, we’re ready to gaze upon each other’s souls. There’s nothing we want or need from each other except to float around and enjoy the light. That’s it.  No words, no attachments, no demands,  just two Universes passing in the light.”

*I’m alone but I’m everything

*You are the Universe

*Every single thing that you want or need is already inside you

*Now instead of being a wise guy I am a wise man

*At your happiest, you only have a fraction of a fraction of my bliss

*The sun is puny compared to the white ball of light I see here

*Don’t live by what you think others think

*Your mind cannot grasp the Eternal

*The shortest distance between 2 points is not a straight line–you are already at both points

*After death you are able to be at two places at the same time

*The same Divine Intelligence that grows trees from seeds, that lets birds fly, that waves the ocean and gives birth to stars–that same Intelligence also breathes your breath, beats your heart and heals your wounds.

*if there is one thing worth doing on your planet–it’s discovering self-love.  I say “discovering” instead of “learning” because learning implies you’re starting from zero; but the truth is that you already love yourself.  But when you’re born, when the amnesia happens, you forget your magnificence, and think you have to earn the right to be loved. How can you earn the right to what already belongs to you?

*What is the best cure for suffering?

*Finding the enlightenment of it all–discovering the invisible within the visible.

*What is bliss? It is like falling in love multiplied by a thousand.  On earth you usually need someone to give you a reason to feel love, and that feeling has its ups and downs. With bliss there is no downside–and there is no reason for it.  You are a soul and that is what the spiritual search is about.

*If you would be a pearl-maker, you have to use the sand of life’s irritations

*When you imagine the limitless, you’ve touched the Infinite Self

*Before each soul comes to earth, its own personal Book of Life is written

*I played a lot of different roles in my earth life: the addict, the philosopher, the scoundrel, the do-gooder, the do-bader, and the bad-boy saint

*Billy Cohen was a Jewish boy from Brooklyn who didn’t choose to reincarnate

*The soul loves experience and doesn’t fear suffering

*There are other places than earth that are real, full of love and joy and bliss. Here, there are no judgments, no wrongs, no competitiveness, no resentments and no wanting

*”Thank you” is the most healing message there is

*If you could hear the rippling stream of lights/sounds here, just for one second, you would probably never be afraid or angry or ever be upset again.

*There is no such thing as doing wrong here

*Beyond the concepts of success and failure, there’s vibration, which is musical

*Astronomers looking at the skies never dream they are looking at places they will inhabit one day

*I live inside the innocence and awe of life itself

*The everyday has become miraculous; the ordinary, extraordinary

*We are the dream of the Universe. We are the whim of the Infinite; The breath and the breather; The enemy and the friend. If this is illusion, I’ll bow to it.

*The raindrop is returning to the ocean, but there is no ocean, there is nothingness. Don’t be sad, for as I am nothingness, I am also everything:  I am the Universe, I am light, I am soul, I am a king, a drug addict, a saint and a beggar. I am the Allness in the Nothing, the Nothing in the Allness.  That’s what the Divine is–everything and nothing.

*I am the suffering.  I am the truth. I am grace.  I am the play, the director, the scenery, and the audience.

*From pure soul, I am becoming pure Spirit. I have cast off my earthly disguise, my life, my drama, my music.  Everything is being left behind, even my soul.

RADICALIZATION

Radicalization is a new word from terrorism meaning the training process that usually a young man goes through who seeks a life purpose by joining a violent cell group to fight anyone who offends Islam.
The alternative is not normality but radical consciousness, radical love, radical godhood.  Islamic radicalism  is not really radical, but is just more good versus evil mediocrity.  Killing the enemy is as old as Cain and Abel.
The context of Real Radicalization is not one god against another because there are not many gods–like an Islamic god, a Jewish god and a Christian god.
See my book, Radical Consciousness, published in 2003 by Lulu.
The Radical Gospel of Consciousness can be stated as follows:
The Two You’s
There are two you’s
1. The one you know and the one you don’t,
2. The programmed you and the real you,
3.  The symptomatic anxious you and the healthy, peaceful you,
4. The contracted you and the expanding you,
4. The problematic you and the problemless you,
5. The mortal you and the Immortal You,
6. The ego and the Self,
7. The limited you and the Unlimited You,
8. The asleep you and the Awakened You.
The difference between the two you’s is vast.  Society made the ego; God made the Self.  One is flawed and the other is perfect.  One is assumed; the other must be revealed/discovered.
For the Self to seem alive, the ego must die. The ego ignores god; the Self is one with God. The ego is a liar; the Self is the Truth.  The ego is ruled by good-versus-evil;  the Self by the Infinite Good.  The ego is endarkened; the Self is Enlightened.
The Perfect Man
He who fully realizes his humanness, simultaneously realizes his godness.
Is it true that “Knowledge=Power”?
Is it true that “Scientific Knowledge=Power”?
There are many kinds of knowledge and many kinds of power,  depending upon context.  There is emotionalized knowing and power, intellectualized knowing and power, materialistic knowing and power, and humanistic knowing and power, but the context of
I argue that Limited World knowing has limited power, and that Unlimited World knowing has Unlimited Power.
There is materialistic science that has limited world knowing and power, and there is spiritual science that has Unlimited World knowing and power.
Knowledge=power.  But this knowledge and power may be positive or negative, constructive or destructive, or both.  When this knowledge and power is limited — it is both positive and negative; when it is unlimited, it is Infinitely Good.
Programmed
I am “programmed” by society to be spiritually deadened,  existentially unconscious,  lack-oriented,  esteem-crippled, good-versus-evil conflicted, materialistic, codependent, idolatrous, pretentious, judgmental, status-seeking, anxiety-laden, survival-and-success-dominated, death-expectant, emotionalized, energy-limited, god-starved, symptomatic, reactive, politicized, addicted, self-medicated, intellectualized, misdiagnosed, ego-defined, soul-ignorant and context-bound.  No wonder life is difficult without Enlightenment!
If I am aware of my oneness with God and living in the Unlimited World…….
1. Then I have nothing to fear and be anxious about
2. I have no lacks or limitations
3. I am guided every step of the way
by infinite loving intelligence
4. I am not vulnerable
5. The programmed world has no important effect on me
6. I don’t have to control anything
7. Abundance is my inheritance
8. The Infinite Good is real
9. Enlightenment is my calling, desire, and realization
10. Every day is awesome.
I am here to argue that only the Unlimited Good exists. Therefore, there are no problems.  We have been taught to pretend to suffer, to pretend to be victims. God created no victims. If God created you perfect, you are perfect.  You are not an ego,  a limited, imperfect defective lacking ego. God is not mocked.  There is no sin.  No death.  No punishment.  No hell.  It’s all a lie.
There is no crime or sickness, today you will be with me in paradise.
There are two worlds, one appears to be real and limited, but it is not,  Every day is awesome. We are spiritually blinded to the perfect world.
All you need is to turn on the light, awaken from this nightmare of ISIS.  Crime is not news.  Non-crime is news.  M., bring your wife, she needs to hear this cup running over, that there is no bad news.
Our five senses do not report the truth to us — the truth of spirit does not kick in until level 600 (see David Hawkins Map of Human Consciousness), to the Unlimited World, which men see not.
This news is so good, you won’t be able to tell her. You both need to hear it first hand from a radical teacher.
What I am going to tell  you, will absolutely blow your mind and will seem too good to be true.  This is the best news since the dawn of creation.
I made an awesome discovery that I must share with all who will listen.
We have all been fooled by the LIAR.    We are unenlightened, ignorant.  Mis-educated,  Have to un-learn it all. We are programmed, mis-programmed.  Only God  exists.   I am one with God, Jesus claimed.
You don’t need alcohol, you only need the truth.   You need no medication.  You are not sick.  The gospel is the unbelievably good news that none of us believe.
Television debates about discipline have been the rage all week, whether “switching ” is appropriate if there are scars, etc., especially in the Republican “Southern” states.
Christianity, according to many, means we must restrain and punish the child to protect him from his “evil” rebellious nature, and this view is passed on from one generation to another as “good” or at least better than indulgence, freedom and irresponsibility.
Looking for the flaw in the child sets up a pattern for generations and obscures their gift, their potential, and their perfection–teaches them self-criticism and self-punishment–and they become professionals who act like victims of the six useless questions, always looking for what is wrong, and why, going in vicious circles, unable to see the Unlimited World.
An enlightened person can’t be “left,” or disappointed or victimized–why? Because they see what? The Unlimited World. The world of lack and limitation does not exist, the world of time, space and matter, which is all there is to fight about, a la ISIS.
There is no lack of oil or energy or time or perfection. If there is no criticism and no blame and no  Enlightenment,   where can someone be “left”, in what can they be disappointed? Only the Limited.
If God exists, lack doesn’t.  There is nothing to fight about if no lack exists.   Why would anyone fight about the Infinite?  The Infinite has no outside.  You have gambled your life on what does not even exist — the limited.  How can both exist?
If God exists, how can imperfection? Would you create an imperfect world? Why? Be ye perfect, as God is perfect. There is no imperfection nor lack nor limitation. Only the Infinite Good exists.  There are no defects to criticize or complain about. There are no lacks to be disappointed about.  Your perfection has just been unwitnessed.  Sickness and perfection are irreconcilable.  You are not sick.
I am perfect. Enlightenment is the awareness of Perfection. No one leaves you due to perfection, but due to criticism about your “defects”.
Jesus, David Hawkins, John Dorsey, Emma, Acim, Thomas Hora and William Glasser saw only perfection.
How did you learn imperfection and self-criticism? Who said you were lacking?  Defective?  Imperfect?  In need of self-confirmation or self-medication?  Fixing? Improving?
Discipline? Correction? A doctor, teacher, parent, coach or sibling?  Did you self-diagnose?  Why did you accept their opinion over God’s?
Is your last name the title of “Christ?”  See A Course In Miracles. Also Gen l:30, John 10:34; Jesus came not to blame, but to free from condemnation. He said no one has witnessed your perfection.  “Be thou whole”.   Even your debts are perfect.  Your marriage  is perfect.  No evil exists.  We have been fooled into the victimhood drama. .
My approach is radically different.  I begin with what is right and then move on to what is perfect and we never find the wrong because that is the fantasy. Suppose there is no reason to drink whatsoever.  Suppose there is just a hole in the bottom of the boat? You’d be glad to know that.  Wives need to hear the exquisite good news as much as husbands–maybe more.
You will never regret for one minute that you came to hear the infinite good news, the best $50 you ever spent or your money back.  Guaranteed by scripture’s 7000 promises and Jesus’ resurrection.  Deathlessness is just the beginning.  Who would want to be miserable forever!
Misdiagnosis is only the beginning–the only problem you have is thinking you have a problem.  Jesus diagnosed no one; he came to end labelling forever.

The Two You’s

There are 2 you’s: The ego-you and the Real-You.

One is automatically assumed, the other requires Awareness. One is legal; the other is spiritual.  One is given by parents, by society, by birth certificate, by driver’s license, and both by a sound and a signature, and the other by god. Both seem valid but one is incomplete and hollow. One is a program, the other is YOU.  One is the ego; the other is the SELF.  They may even sound and be spelled the same, but they are not. And therein lies the Mystery, the Identity Secret: AWARENESS.  Without awareness, you are just a sound, a signature, a statistic, a name, a legal entity, a program, a form, an ego.

Be AWARE! You are the One. You are God if you have AWARENESS. You are One with the Infinite.  You are no-thing. You are AWARENESS.  Wake up from the sleep of UNAWARENESS.  There are no limits to AWARENESS nor to the real you.  All else is blasphemy, sleep, death.

And God saw that all he had made was Very Good–Perfect!  Gen 1:30. How can you claim any longer not to be on the Hero’s Journey? Are you a fake? A hypocrite?  A pretender? Don’t you know that you are gods! (John 8:30).  Be ye perfectly aware as your Father is.  Know thyself.  Deny your ego.  Be SELF- AWARE!  Your name is my name–the Christ.  Don’t you know that all that I have is yours!  I and my father are one with you.

Paul Williams, Gratitude and Trust

  1. Something needs to change and it is probably me.
  2. I don’t know how to make this change, but something inside me does.
  3. I will learn from my mistakes and not defend them.
  4. A mistake is our greatest teacher.
  5. I will right the wrongs wherever possible.
  6. Hiding one’s addictions is exhausting.

How Fortunate You Are!

Are you ready and willing to be guided today into the next unfolding step of your Hero’s Conscious Journey? It is awesome to discover more of the Unlimited World each day!

How fortunate, how blessed you are!

  1. You found out what doesn’t work
  2. You are old enough but not too old
  3. You found a guide who knows the way
  4. The time and the means are in your favor
  5. You may even have some insight
  6. For the first time in history, we have the energy of consciousness available, we have the internet, books, tv–all to help you! Everything that ever happened since the creation of the world was for your benefit and mine.
  7. All you have to add is interest and willingness, and I will help you with that, by telling you about the hidden unlimited world, like the dead trees phenomenon.
  8. My guess is that you have been prepared for this time–it is part of the Grand Master Plan for your life. You may have had a dream.
  9. Several things are probably not working very well:  relationships, job, health, and addictions, even therapy–it is called the midlife crisis.
  10. There may have been symptomatic signals before, but no one recognized what they meant–your potentials, not your defects. I am one in a million! And so are you!
  11. Things don’t happen to you, they happen for you. Things fail, you don’t–there are no victims.
  12. What do you really want? Which you? There are 2 you’s, one you know and one you don’t.  Ignorance can be corrected.
  13. There are two levels of perception: The personality or flesh-body level, and The soul or light-body level.
  14. What was the high point in your life? What was the second, third, and fourth?  This crisis will be at least the fifth–maybe even the first.

Where Shall We Hide the Truth From Man?

“Where shall we hide the truth from man?”
The gods all cried when he was made.
“How can we guard our secret now?”
They asked each other most afraid.

“Hide it in the earth; he will mine it.
Hide it on a mountain; he will climb it.
Even in the sea he will find it.
Where shall we hide the truth from man?”

Quite beside themselves, they cried:
“This little guy will take our throne.
We have made him far too smart
Not to claim our heaven home

Hide it in matter, he’ll analyze it.
Hide it in the water, he’ll crystallize it.
Even in hell, he’ll surmise it.
Where shall we hide the truth from man?”

They thought of stars in outer space
Or in the nature of a tree,
But they knew that man could solve
Each and every mystery.

“Hide it in the wind, he’ll pursue it.
Hide it in an act, he will do it.
Even in an atom, he will view it.
Where shall we hide the truth from man?”

Then they solved the mystery
Of how the frightened gods should win.
The wisest said, “Let’s take the truth
And hide it deep inside of him.

Hide it in his heart, he will doubt it
Hide it in his soul, he’ll live without it
Even if we should reveal and shout it,
He won’t believe the truth is within him.”
